The signature hole is #15, a memorable par 3 which from the championship tees requires a long and precise tee shot over a lake to a green surrounded by pine trees. The course is carved through a pine forest which is part of the Natural Park of Ria Formosa, an eco-system that hosts a great variety of birds.

Today play Vilamoura - Old Course . One of the original and finest courses on the Algarve today. It is situated on elevated ground and is carved through an umbrella pine forest where acuracy from the tee is a must. The Old Course has hosted the Portuguese Open on numerous occassions.
Please note strict handicap limits are set and enforced by the club. Men 24 & Ladies 28. It is a requirement to produce your handicap certificate or letter of introduction from the club pro, prior to play.

This Frank Pennink designed course enjoys a beautiful location, near to the historic city of Lagos, commanding magnificent views of the bay of Lagos and the distant Monchique hills. The fairways are lined with a wide variety of trees and shrubs that give colour and provide natural hazards.

Today play Monte Rei - Northern Course . The Monte Rei facility is located in the Eastern Algarve close to the Spain & Portugal border. This Jack Nicklaus signature golf course is set to be a golfing masterpiece that uses the spectacular natural terrain of the area to present a challenging layout including natural water hazards, indigenous trees and plants and breathtaking views out to the sea and the countryside.

Today play Quinta do Lago North (tbc). Apart from the par 3's nearly every hole has some form of dogleg, some quite severe, demanding accuracy from the drives to be in position for the second shots. The course flows through the Quinta Do Lago Estate where magnificent umbrella pines and luxurious homes can take your mind off the golf.

Vilamoura - Old
One of the original and finest courses on the Algarve today, it is held in high regard around the world for its elegant simplicity. It is situated on elevated ground and is carved through an umbrella pine forest where accuracy from the tee is imperative. Narrow fairways are the layouts primary defense and the greens are relatively flat. The course features limited bunkering and dense rough in places. The Old Course has hosted the Portuguese Open on numerous occasions.
Palmares
Tucked inside the Bay of Lagos, this seaside layout is a masterpiece designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., the esteemed American architect. Elevation chance is the centerpiece of the Alvor nine, which is located in the northern end of the property. Most of this side has a parkland feel, as does the Lagos side, which also features two holes by the dunes and a lake that poses strategic challenges on No. 3, a tasty par-3, and No. 6, a stiff par-5.
Monte Rei
The Monte Rei facility is located in the Eastern Algarve close to the Spain & Portugal border. This Jack Nicklaus signature golf course is set to be a golfing masterpiece that uses the spectacular natural terrain of the area to present a challenging layout including natural water hazards, indigenous trees and plants and breathtaking views out to the sea and the countryside. Elevated tees and multi-tiered greens are familiar characteristics. The Par-4 17th is a dogleg right that plays into the prevailing wind.
Quinta do Lago - North
Featuring state-of-the-art irrigation and renovated bunkers, tees and greens when it was rebuilt in 2014, this layout quickly became a favorite among visitors to the resort. The 12th is a near 90 degree dogleg par-4 left that bends around a large water hazard. Closely mown bermuda grass areas around the greens give golfers multiple options for chipping, pitching and recovery shots in the spirit of the great Scottish architect Donald Ross.
