Azamara + PerryGolf Back-2-Back Golf Cruising | 16 Worldwide Choices in 2024/2025

(WILMINGTON, NC) Sixteen of PerryGolf's 33 Golf Cruises in 2024 / 2025 can be sailed consecutively onboard the intimate-sized fleet of sister ships operated by Azamara® Cruises for less than 700 guests. Golf guests will typically number from 20 – 30 couples including non-golfing companions.

Itineraries range from 9 - 68 Nights with 3 - 27 Rounds of world class golf. Seven such combinations are available in 2024, nine are available in 2025. There are four “Back-2-Back” combinations featuring two cruises, one with three cruises and one with five that features 68-Nights with 27-Rounds. In each case guests will sail throughout on the same ship and very possibly in the same cabin particularly if the booking is made suitably in advance. There are no gaps between any of the schedules and guests are not required to choose the golf program on every cruise.

The Current State of International Golf Travel (The British Isles Edition)

(WILMINGTON, NC) As the final remnants of COVID-era rules are lifted around the world, I thought it may be worthwhile to provide an overview of the state of play for international golf travel to the British Isles. The interest and subsequent demand remain very strong as the golfing community resumes their search for enjoyable and memorable experiences. The supply of the more traditional golfing venues has not materially changed over many years but the demand has slowly but steadily increased. The pandemic served to consolidate that shift and there is no reason to believe the current situation is not the new normal.

Northwest Ireland 2023. A Secret No More.

(WILMINGTON, NC) It’s rare for any of the traditional golf regions in the British Isles to be reimagined to the extent Northwest Ireland has in the last two years. Quality golf has never been the issue here but the recent arrival of two exceptional newcomers accompanied by widespread media attention has raised the profile for everyone. The 2020 opening of Gil Hanse’s and Jim Wagner’s dramatic remodel of Narin & Portnoo set the stage for the 2021 opening of St. Patrick’s Links at Rosapenna.
